Return and Refund Policy

At TAPLY, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. This return and refund policy applies to physical products (NFC plaques, NFC stickers, NFC cards, coasters, keychains, badges) and subscriptions purchased through our platform.

1. Physical Products

1.1 Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 calendar days from the receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify reasons or pay penalties.

To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision by email at hello@taply.so indicating:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Date of receipt
  • Product(s) concerned
  • Reason for return (optional but appreciated)

1.2 Return Conditions

To be accepted, the return must meet the following conditions:

  • The product must be returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition
  • The product must not have been damaged, altered or permanently marked
  • The NFC chip must be functional and undamaged
  • The product must be returned within 14 days after withdrawal notification

1.3 Exclusions from Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:

  • Personalized products (engraved plaques with a name, custom logo, custom design)
  • Bulk (B2B) orders subject to a specific quote and agreement
  • Products whose seal has been broken after delivery and that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (applied stickers)

1.4 Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in case of a defective product or an error on our part (incorrect product, package damaged during delivery). In this case, TAPLY covers the return and replacement shipping costs.

1.5 Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective product, damaged during shipping, or not matching your order:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receipt at hello@taply.so
  • Include photos of the product and packaging
  • We will send a replacement product or process a refund within 5 business days

1.6 NFC Warranty

All our NFC plaques and products come with a lifetime warranty on the NFC chip. If the NFC chip stops working under normal use conditions, we will replace the product free of charge. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, impact, prolonged immersion or exposure to extreme temperatures.

2. Subscriptions and Digital Services

2.1 Trial Period

Some subscriptions may include a free trial period. At the end of this period, the subscription is billed automatically unless canceled beforehand from your account settings.

2.2 Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your TAPLY dashboard or by contacting our support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period:

  • You retain access to all paid features until the end of the billed period
  • No prorated refund will be issued for the remaining period
  • Your data (links, QR codes, leads) is retained and accessible with free plan limitations

2.3 Subscription Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you can request a refund within 7 days of the start of your first paid subscription, provided that:

  • It is your first subscription on the platform
  • The request is made within 7 calendar days of subscribing
  • You have not abused the service (excessive or fraudulent use)

Beyond this period, subscriptions are non-refundable. Automatic renewals are not eligible for refunds.

3. Refund Procedure

Once your return is received and inspected, or your subscription refund request is approved:

  • You will receive a refund confirmation email
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method (credit card via Stripe)
  • Processing time is 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank

If you wish to exchange a product for a different model (size, color, type), contact us at hello@taply.so. Exchanges are subject to product availability and the same conditions as returns.
